ARTWORK MBILASHAKA:

One of the newest projects to hit the streets is ARTWORK MBILASHAKA. The creative collective is made up of Aniekan, PJ Herring, Wes Clark, Jamaul Smith, Perry Sweeper, Tyler Luck, BUCK! and DJ Two-Tone Jones. The artists and dj work in collaboration to create painted 7'x5' compositions in front of a live audience. Using the environment and the African aesthetic as inspiration AM Radio breaks canvas and concepts down to their root. The message is simple...without a doubt...art without a doubt...life without a doubt...truth. Uhuru!

AM-Radio/Artwork Mbilashaka is designed to become integrated into and become the center piece of an event or campaign for your clients through our Live Visual Art Installations.

Our innovative programs consist of seven artists that supply the visual communication in the form of creating a customized 7ft. x 5ft. mural that is brand relevant or event relevant while our DJ supplies the audio communication. This event can serve as a highly unique way of increasing the awareness of your clients identity, brand awareness, and image, in a target market(s) through the medium, authenticity, and connection to "visual art in the making.

The live performance aspect creates an exciting and engaging atmosphere whereby the attendees can see the progression of a work of art from start to finish. This kind of interaction gives the audience an emotional element in that they feel connected to the mural, the event, and your clients through watching its evolution. A Live Art Installation, as an interactive experiential event, allows the viewers to be marketed to "organically" while the branding of your clients image follows naturally. An event of this nature can serve as a critical link to solidifying your clients position as an innovative culture-brand within the lifestyle market.

The combination of live art and music provides an entertaining social exchange: through the visual and musical landscapes. The locations for staging an event(s) are practically limitless and can be co-hosted with an array of nightlife venues, restaurants, tradeshows, art galleries, vendors, or flagship stores (direct-to-retail efforts); all of which could provide captured audience.

AM-Radio's awe-inspiring murals are cost-effective forms of brand promotion as a permanent art installation, or through the creation of prints for broader distribution as part of an overall promotional campaign. To be sure, they speak to a diversity of ethnicities and can easily be integrated into a multi-market campaign. The nightlife option allows for significant attendance in that the Live Art Installation can increase the visibility of your clients to the 21-45 age demographic while strengthening a company's current market base through this intimate setting.

A daytime event at an art gallery, restaurant, tradeshow, high end vendor or flagship store can also be equally effective as a means of increasing your clients awareness to a younger demographic (16-18), increasing the brand's retail linkage and in some cases, facilitate product sell-through. To this end, we can also create events in target markets that are specific to introducing a new product or promoting the brand's primary sell-through as well. This target market, we sometimes refer to as "enthusiasts" are not the average consumer. They're diverse, individualistic, and savvy and are not easily seduced by "forced-fed media" tactics. They're heavily into and influenced by authenticity and customization; from their shoes, clothes, and music (IPOD play-lists), to their cars, blogs, and even myspace.com. Authenticity and customization are two key elements of this project and define why this effort will be that much more successful in providing market appeal. In addition, the Live Art Installation is an ideal medium in which to reach the ever elusive yet all important lifestyle/influencer market that companies spend millions to attract.

The creative process between AM-Radio and your clients, as far as collaborating on customized themes for an original mural, is also one of the key ingredients for success. This process will enable your clients to define the message they want to communicate while the artists add relative components that will intrigue and please the crowd.

Our approach is to create murals that are either brand or event relevant. Depending on the size of the venue, we can even create two murals simultaneously, giving attendees (and our client) added visual value.
